Individual psychotherapy is available for adults who may be experiencing a variety of stressors, such as dealing with depression, anxiety, stress, compulsive overeating, marital conflict, ADD/ADHD, giftedness, parenting conflicts, relationship issues, low self-esteem, parenting adult children, grandparents raising grandchildren, stress management, job loss, relocation stress, and vocational issues. I work with people struggling with codependency. I also work with women who have had extra-marital affairs and women whose spouses have had extra-marital affairs.

I use different treatment modalities and theoretical approaches during therapy depending on the client and the issues presented. I help adult clients explore their thoughts and feelings and their past and understand their implications for the present and future. I focus on improving the present. Clients develop stronger life skills, strengthen relationships, and are able to make better decisions.

Individual psychotherapy is tailored to the individual’s needs and goals. I provide a warm, nurturing space for clients to be at ease and express themselves while feeling emotionally safe and understood. This approach supports the growth and healing the client wishes to achieve. Therapy can increase one’s sense of well-being. Together we will discuss your hopes and wishes.
